I’ve always been passionate about money and personal finance. Even as a kid, I was the one carefully saving birthday money and finding ways to stretch a dollar. That early interest led me to study finance and eventually to a career as a financial analyst, where I worked with major corporations like Disney, Johnson & Johnson, and others to guide smarter financial decisions. Over the past 20 years, I’ve combined that professional expertise with real-world experience: budgeting in college, building savings early, investing in stocks and real estate, and running a local small business while managing family finances.

While I write under a pen name to protect my family’s privacy, every story, lesson, and piece of advice you’ll find here comes straight from real experience: the wins, the mistakes, and everything in between.

I started tracking my expenses in college. At first it was just to catch fraudulent charges, but it quickly grew into a lifelong habit of budgeting, saving, and investing.
